They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For me if it isn’t in a coffee cup or blended fruit I rarely eat. That is until is discovered the ease of making muffins. Muffins make such a fantastic and easy breakfast.
You can make a couple of different kinds and have breakfast for your whole family all week. Plus making them at home is a lot cheaper and healthier than picking up some grub at the local breakfast joint or convenient store.
I scoured the internet, which really just means I went to my favorite food bloggers, and found the best of the best recipes for muffins. There are a few unique options that are delicious as well as some classics.
If you are making muffins I highly suggest having this muffin pan. It’s a nice silicone pan that is easy to clean and works wonderfully to make muffins.
The best part about muffins for breakfast is they are great with your breakfast drink no matter what it is. They are fantastic with coffee, juice, or milk. They are truly delicious, easy to prepare once a week, and travel easily.
Everyone likes muffins so make a bunch and score some brownie points with your coworkers. Bring them in to work to brighten up your whole offices monday morning. Bringing comfort food like muffins into work not only makes everyone’s day brighter, but it also makes people a lot more agreeable.
Better than bringing a bunch into work they are great for the whole family. Late start to the day, no problem, give the kids a muffin for breakfast. Your baby or toddler will make a mess but they will be busy eating the muffin in all it’s crumble goodness for at least 30 minutes.
Give them as an after school snack that won’t spoil dinner. Even put them in your kids lunch box to make sure they stay full all day. Kids love making muffins too. My toddler loves when that muffin pan comes out and waits patiently for them to finish baking too.
